New Jersey State Survey 2018

In partnership with Media Predict, Univision’s Political, Advocacy & Government Group is tracking New Jersey’s candidates, key issues and voter intent of Hispanic voters in the 2018 cycle. See below the key takeaways:

 

U.S. Senate:

Menendez: 39% Hispanic (H) | 28% Non-Hispanic (NH)
Hugin: 18% H | 35% NH
Don’t Know: 38% H | 32% NH

  • 38% of Hispanic voters are likely to change their mind for the Senate race (vs 22% NH)
  • Voters likely to change their mind when aware that a candidate has been on trial for corruption
  • Among Hispanic respondents: Economy/Jobs (89%), Cost of Living in New Jersey (87%) and Public Education (85%) are top issues ​
