Texas State Survey Sept 2018

In partnership with Media Predict, Univision’s Political, Advocacy & Government Group is tracking Texas candidates, key issues and voter intent of Hispanic and Non-Hispanic voters in the 2018 cycle. See below for key takeaways from the latest poll: 

 

Governor:  

Valdez: 43% Hispanic (H) | 27% Non-Hispanic (NH) 

Abbott: 35% H | 56% NH 

Undecided: 19% H | 15% NH 

32% of Hispanic voters are likely to change their mind (vs 22% NH)​  

 

U.S. Senate: 

O’Rourke: 53% H | 37% NH 

Cruz: 32% H | 49% NH 

Undecided: 12% H | 12% NH 

26% of Hispanic voters are likely to change their mind (vs 20% NH)​  

 

Lieutenant Governor: 

Collier: 29% H | 21% NH 

Patrick: 26% H | 40% NH 

Undecided: 42% H | 37% NH 

27% of Hispanic voters are likely to change their mind (vs 24% NH)​
